Beskrivelse
The project at hand focuses on the use of technology for providingwritten corrective feedback to Danish 8th-grade students of EFL. My
focus is on teachers’ thinking and practices and how it may be
affected by the introduction of a specific tool for giving feedback.
The questions the study seeks to answer are:
• In what ways do teacher beliefs and practices change when
teachers are involved in an intervention which (1) aims to update
their knowledge concerning feedback (2) introduces interactive,
technology-mediated feedback?
• How are student attitudes and practices influenced?
The study uses a variety of methods to answer these:
questionnaires, interviews, sound recordings, screen recordings,
and document study. The intervention involving technology was
carried out over eight months at three schools (three teachers,
three classes). The project will be presented along with some
preliminary results concerning teacher practices, just as problematic
aspects will be presented for discussion.
