Læringsmål: 1: critical awareness of the dimensions of his/her own cultural identity, critical thinking and individual reflection 2: Intercultural communicative competence and the ability to communicate through dialogue 3: Awareness of different representations of diversity 4: Awareness of cultural and minority issues (home/family issues, gender) in education 5: Ability to understand and discuss the notion of “culture” both in an educational context and in relation to society. 6: Have an understanding of how meaning is produced.
Undervisnings- og arbejdsformer: Dialogue, group assignments, small field work activities, portfolio, WEB 2.0 technology Begrundelse for valg af undervisnings- og arbejdsformer: To develop competences I find it crucial that students work with and reflect upon different aspects of the themes in the course and preferably try it on "living children". To follow their development the portfolio is a good method and for this course I used the WEB 2.0 technology (blogs and Evernote)
