Beskrivelse
In 2016 we developed a learning path towards graphic programming for children in the afterschool school program Coding Pirates. The project is seen as a didactic transposition of how graphic programming is being investigated in computer science as well as in the industry. As GeoGebra is widely used in the Danish mathematics classrooms, the tool played a central role in the transformation of geometric shapes to sets of points within limits described as functions. The learning path has been used with children age 12-14 and with teacher students as part of their mathematics education. The workshop will be a journey that will lead the participants along some of the way towards graphic programming with GeoGebra as a scaffold for learning. In the workshop there will be examples from the children’s and the teacher students work.
