    This presentation focuses upon the improvement of hip surgery patients’ outcomes with respect to health promotion and rehabilitation. The overall aims of the EU financed orthopedic nursing project will be introduced.
    Speakers highlight the project’s contribution to:
    -the development of nurse competencies
    -the development of an e-health concept based upon new knowledge concerning rehabilitation aimed at patients, their families and health professionals
    -the development of new clinical practice guidelines

    The project integrates innovative public health services via e-based solutions.
