IACDE (International Association of Clothing Designers and Executives) promotes knowledge sharing, professional development, and international collaboration among designers, pattern makers, and product developers within the apparel industry.
The presentation was part of an international conference for designers and pattern makers and consisted of a 1.5-hour professional lecture on body inclusion in fashion, serving as a framework for discussion and a subsequent workshop. The lecture focused on how body diversity can be strategically integrated into design, pattern construction, grading, and collection development, addressing inclusive approaches to design and development processes that support more sustainable and inclusive fashion collections.
