NAN Seminar

Beskrivelse

On behalf of a newly established Northern network of animation festivals (NAN), we focus on building a strong platform and solid (animation) festivals across the Nordic and Baltics. We are four partners: REX Animation Film Festival (Sweden), BLON Animation & Games Festival (Lithuania), Fredrikstad Animation Festival (Norway) and Viborg Animation Festival (Denmark). We have been fortunate to get EU Media funding for 2025 and 2026 to carry out our network activities

We would like to invite to a yearly seminar where we discuss common challenges and opportunities in the regional animation and festival scene. The seminar will happen during Göteborg Film Festival and take place from January 29th - 31st 2025. The network covers travel, accommodation (2 nights) and meals for one person. The Seminar itself will be a happen on the Thursday the 30th. We will be a total of 12 attendees, plus speakers.

We plan to discuss the following themes that will become part of our Best Practise manual:
- Production of online content for festivals
- How do festivals fit into the distribution and film marketing eco-system? -
- Inclusion for staff and audiences (volunteers, neurodiversity, social sustainability )
