BeskrivelseResearch in science education has long been occupied with an interest in both the development of students' scientific concepts and young people's attitudes and interest in, science subjects. In recent years, however, there has been an increased interest on cultural, social and political perspectives on school science. Such research focused on questions including who can identify with school science, to examine eg how gender, class and/or ethnicity are manifested in the science classroom and/or how cultural norms or political ideologies shape what happens in science education.
