    • "Alan Pearson AM is Professor of Evidence-based Health Care at the University of Adelaide and Executive Director of the Joanna Briggs Institute. Professor Pearson has extensive experience in clinical practice in the UK, the USA, Papua New Guinea and Australia. He has been the recipient of many competitive and commissioned research grants. He has published over 50 books and research reports, over 40 book chapters, and over 140 refereed journal articles. He established the Joanna Briggs Institute in Adelaide in 1996 and is actively involved in advancing evidence-based healthcare in many countries. Prof Pearson has supervised over 100 postgraduate students through to completion.
