The Biennial International Conference for the Craft Sciences

Beskrivelse

Craft Sciences refer to a unity of research conducted in different craft subjects. The Biennial International Conference for the Craft Sciences aims to expose the breadth of topics, source material, methods, perspectives, and results that reside in this transverse field. The conference provides a platform for communicating craft research beyond the borders of faculties and disciplines. Through the collaboration with the Gothenburg Research Infrastructure in Digital Humanities (GRIDH) at the University of Gothenburg, the conference will provide multimodal communication to better elicit the performative and material nature of craft research. The traditional call for research papers is amplified with calls for filmed multimedia articles, interactive applications, performances, and exhibitions. The submitted research will go through a double-blind peer review process and accepted contributions will be published in FormAkademisk Journal (accredited in the Norwegian list for scientific publishers) and the BICCS portal. Deadlines for session and short abstract have passed. We are happy to present 15 thematic sessions.
