In August-September 2019, over 30 Flux Factory artists will return for our second annual group residency at Aarhus, Denmark’s ARoS Aarhus Art Museum. Within the “ARoS Public” atelier, Fluxers will cooperatively create new works in an open-studio environment and produce dozens of performances, installations, screenings, workshops, dance parties and more.
For the first Wednesday night at the Museum, Flux Factory presents "The Vitruvian Man as Neighbor: Beautiful, ugly or disgusting?" A lecture by Brian Benjamin Hansen.
Join us to welcome Flux Factory back to Denmark! Flux Residents Misha Rabinovich, Caitlin Foley and Nat Roe will also present.
"The Vitruvian Man as Neighbor: Beautiful, ugly or disgusting?," is inspired by the chewing gum modeling process taking place at the museum by artist Julie Bitsch and curator Erik Duckert.
This event is supported by Statens Kunstfond, the Nordisk Kulturfond and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
