Er ansat som adjunkt på grunduddannelsen i Bachelor Leisure Management ved Professionshøjskolen Absalon. Er også EVU-konsulent og ansvarlig for Den Merkantile Diplomuddannelse retningen Leisure Management - der i 2020 udbydes efter den nye studieordning ved Campus Roskilde.


Særlige interesseområder er strategiudvikling, attraktions- og destinationsudvikling, event management, service - og oplevelsesdesign samt brand building.

I was a longstanding partner of an event agency, where I co-authored the book 'Experience-Based Communication'. 


I started my own consultancy in 2015, helping companies to improve customer relations by bringing other business-enhancing methods into play - such as drama, storytelling, staging, and event organization. I have been an adviser for various municipalities, NGO organizations and cultural institutions, helping them to spot new trends in global tourism. In recent years such trends have pointed towards collaboration, sustainability and co-creation initiatives based on placemaking and local assets.   

My passion for good storytelling enables me to help clients navigate through traditional media and social media, identifying and formulating the best stories and getting them heard.  I am particularly interested in helping destinations, attractions and companies create a foundation for bottom-up innovation – establishing the management and project skills necessary for constructing destination management organizations. 


As a lecturer I have communicated the need for leisure hybrid thinking, emphasizing the win-win aspects from all sectors, i.e. public, private and volunteers in need of adopting design thinking - all with a focus on result-oriented strategic development as well as organizational- and business development.


I also specialize in place-branding, helping cities, regions and countries to create future brand strategies. The focus is on tourism requirements, inward investments and talent attraction. Another element is city innovation, where we engage citizens in crowd-sourced innovation projects designed to improve their cities.

With more than 20 years of experience in economics, marketing and event management, I am often invited  toappear as a keynote speaker in the tourism development arena. I have been interviewed for articles in Fortune Magazine, Attraction Magazine and well-known Danish newspapers such as Jyllands-Posten and Borsen. I have also appeared on Danish Radio, and I write articles and deliver lectures on the subjects of post digitalLesiure trends and experience-based communication.
