Ransom Lekunze spent one month (23 February to 24th March 2016) at the Makerere University, Uganda as visiting lecturer within the framework of the African Diaspora Support to African Universities programme which he is a grantee. The grant, funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York is aimed to support African diaspora scholars in higher education and research institutions abroad to engage and share their scholarly know-how with their African counterparts. It involves pairing scholars from the diaspora with their Sub-Saharan Africa peers in joint research projects and academic activities that foster partnerships and contribute to higher education goals in Africa.
