African Diaspora Support to African Universities project

The African Diaspora Support to African Universities project, funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York is aimed to support African diaspora scholars in higher education and research institutions abroad to engage and share their scholarly know-how with their African counterparts. It involves pairing scholars from the diaspora with their Sub-Saharan Africa peers in joint research projects and academic activities that foster partnerships and contribute to higher education goals in Africa. Ransom Lekunze from the Metropolitan University College, Copenhagen, Denmark is the diaspora scholar in the project and collaborates with partners at the Makerere University, Uganda and others.
