Aging and Demographic Changes in Late Modern Society

Our prioirities are based upon the overall aim to promote sustainable and integrated research and education in cross-collaboration facing societal challenges in aging societies. This is a part of promoting the civic and social responsibility of
students, researchers and universities and recognising voluntary and community work in academic results (through
ECTS points, for example). Promoting internationalisation, recognition and mobility, supporting changes in line with Bologna principles and tools for student mobility due to education in professions (nursing, social care). Further on, we initiate and create cross-border knowledge alliances through multidisciplinary pedagogical meetings and disciplines in research and education. Learning through and in both digital / virtual and analog tools and environments is a part of this. The establishment of structures for inclusion in collaboration with students and practioners/professionals in the context of a previously network based collaboration (Caresam) has given substantial results.
