Translation of Pregnancy Physical Activity Questionnaire (PPAQ). The goal of the Questionnaire was to design an instrument able to measure the duration, frequency, and intensity of total activity (household/caregiving, occupational, and sports/exercise) throughout pregnancy and distinguish activity patterns in pregnant women. The PPAQ is a semi-quantitative questionnaire with 36 items that ask the respondents to report on the time spent participating in different activities or inactivities. The original English version of PPAQ has also been used in an intervention trial to measure the physical activities among pregnant women for preventing pregnancy complications. This study aims to translate and culturally adapt the PPAQ into Danish.
