The overall goal of Andimation was to provide a platform for local animation talent to reach global resonance. The overall objectives of Andimation are: -To develop “state of the art” pitch kits for animated TV series in an incubator framework, to produce a “ready for market” animated TV series pilot that will promote local identities and values, while being the fruit of regional collaboration and international knowledge sharing, to foster collaboration between the Andean countries because of the true artistic and market potential the region presents and to spark the local and regional development of original high quality animation content, which can resonate both artistically and commercially in all Andean countries and beyond.

1. UGAMU a. In January 2018, Ugamu won the Andean Call Workshop, organized by Annecy International Festival. It got qualified to join the Pitch of Animation du Monde at MIFA, last June.This prize includes 2 accreditations and 1 plane ticket and hotel.
b. In June Ugamu won the first award at this Pitch, which is a Ciclic Artistic Residence in France during 2 months.The prize includes 2 plane tickets and full pension.c. In November, Ugamu got the ICCA* Prize of 10 000 US $ for development (*Instituto de Cine y Creación Audiovisual) from Ministry of Culture in Ecuador. With this amount, they are planning to invest it to do the full serie script and the bible during Ciclic residence and later.

2. ONIRIAa.In 2017, Oniria won the Colombian Cultural Ministry’s fund for transmedia projects aimed for young audiences and with that money, they were able to develop the narrative and visual part of the project a bit more.They were also able to test the project with teens between 12 and 14 years old, and the feedback they got was positive. Around 60 teenagers talked about themselves and about the things they liked. They also shared their dreams and nightmares and wrote stories inspired by them. They used the information gathered from the workshop to create each of the transmedia components that were shared in a closed Facebook group. The transmedia strategy used at that time consisted of a series of mini comics, a motion comic and an interactive graphic novel. http://www.oniriaproject.com/site1/
b. In 2017, Oniria won the category “Best series project” at Bolivia Lab in La Paz. This made them winners of a MIFA pass.
c. In 2017, Oniria won 4 sessions of Transmedia Storytelling advisory with the expert Laura Rugerio from Argentina. They have been using these sessions in order to develop the transmedia strategy. 
d. In 2018, part of the team went to Annecy Festival, where they presented the project to a few people. After those meetings, Oniria now counts with a new Script doctor: Babette Vimenet. •The mini bible presented in MIFA is here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1F29COjWX7es8IuNkgA81ohv57JbuebLJ 
e. Currently, they are working on the Interactive Graphic Novel, which had a lot of changes and now they are on the coding stage. It is estimated to be finished in December.

3. QUILLAa
QUILLA has been called by Melisa Arias’ Colombian production studio V’ CINEMA, which is ready to invest into a Quilla’s Comic Book. This project is in pause mode, actually.
In June, QUILLA won the ICCA* Prize of 10 000 US $ for development (*Instituto de Cine y Creación Audiovisual) from Ministry of Culture in Ecuador. 4.TIMBATU 
 a. TV Peru is negotiating a
pre-buy of a serie with APUS STUDIO in Lima (Owner is Gabriel Bonilla, former Open
Workshop 2017
participant with feature IMILLA)

b. MOVISTAR, from
TELEFONICA SPAIN & LATAM
 can then get
into the loop. They are showing interest.

c. CARBURADORES Chile (Corfo’s interlocutor)
signed a co-production agreement.

d. DDC CUSCO is about to ciofirm a
recent proposal of a 2 months basis Animation Workshop, by teaching 20
peruvians (90% from Cusco) on how to animate while doing a Timbatu’s teaser.

Their Budget is 24 000 USD x 2 months. (+ if 3 months)

Directors & teachers Denis & Miguel, are involved.









e. JOSÉ DELGADO the Venezuelan musician and singer (which came to TIFA
Cusco & worked with TAW – Hanne’s Animated Learning) is now the official composer
for Timbatu.



f. APUS Studios (Gabriel Bonilla,
Imilla at Open Workshop) is getting into this loop also, with the grant they got with DAFO – Head Ministry of Culture LIMA.

In October they got 2 Funds of DAFO for other animated projects.
