Digitalisering i SMV'er

This paper addresses the roles and responsibilities in the relationship between IT suppliers and SMEs in a digital transformation of SMEs. Previous understandings of how SMEs succeed in digitalization is not yet sufficient covered within software development research. We propose that the need for digitalization often can be the gateway for SMEs to venture into a digital transformation if the IT supplier handles the situation appropriately. A key characteristic of SMEs is that they have limited resources (kilder) and the venture therefore often starts with the necessity of some kind of digitalization.
