Film Festival, VAF 2018

Viborg Animation Festival 2018 is a film festival that takes place from September 24th to September 30th. The primary mission of the festival is to show an array of animated films that are both though - provoking and brilliantly crafted, utilizing a range of techniques and aesthetic. VAF sees all if Denmark as its target audience and seeks to present a program that will catch the eye of a wide audience looking for a powerful experiences as well as hardened professionals seeking inspiration. The French theme of VAF 2018 yields a smorgasboard of award winning animated films, both for children and adults. The importance of French animation cannot be underestimated, neither in France nor the rest of the world. It is the third largest producer of animated films in the world, and French animation permeates the visual culture of its home country.
