Beskrivelse

The Nutrition Care Process and Terminology (NCP/NCPT) was developed by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly the American Dietetic Association) to provide dietetic professionals a framework for decision-making and logical thinking. This framework and terminology are currently being adopted among dietitians all over the world. In 2017, the first INIS study was performed, aiming to assess dietitians' NCP and NCPT implementation internationally in 10 countries. In 2023, the study is repeated, now including 23 countries across the world, and also focusing on other terminologies and processes, such as the ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health) Dietetics terminology, used in some European countries. We also focus on the implementation and use of Electronic Health Records and outcomes management among dietitians globally.
The aim of the INIS 2023 study is to internationally explore dietitians’ implementation and experiences of standardized working processes and terminologies, and to assess their connection to the use of Electronic Health Record and the management of outcomes data.
