A comparative analysis of the development of transport and logistics companies in Denmark and China. Innovation in Transport and Logistics companies.
Research objectives:
• This main objective of this research will be a development and application of a method for diagnosing area and direction of development in the transport and logistics companies
• sub-goals:
1. On the basis of the diagnosis of phase of development of the Logistics & Transport companies, defining business development strategy.

2. Identification of similarities and differences in the conditions of the development of companies in Denmark and China.

3. Identification of trends and development directions for the Transport and Logistics companies in Denmark and China.

The research will contain the following parts:

1. Clarification of concepts: development, growth, change, innovation

2. The extension of the model of SME by Churchill and Lewis (CLC)
3. The extension of the model of Innovation by Joe Tidd.
4. Discussion of the methodology and research methods (“checklists” method to diagnose development and innovation potential)
5. Description of the results of research
• Characteristics of the sector of Transport and Logistics in Denmark and China
• Analysis and evaluation of the development of about 30 companies in Denmark and 30 companies in China
• Comparative analysis that shows the similarities and differences on the development of companies in Denmark and China
• Comparative analysis that shows the directions of the development of companies
