“Narrative Structures in Online News Media”.
The project investigates the storytelling structure of multimedia stories in online news media. How is meaning created when different media forms are merged into the same story? The project specifically concentrates on stories where video and text are the main modalities. Another key question is how the form, modalities and editorial strategies influence the narratives of online news.
