Beskrivelse
Chokoladefestivalen is the largest (and only) festival of its kind in Denmark.
It has taken place in Copenhagen almost every year since 1996. Next year will be its 25th anniversary. 5-6000 guests visit the festival each year.
Chokoladefestivalen is the main event of the non-profit organisation Chokoladeselskabet. Chokoladeselskabet was originally established in 1992 by a group of enthusiastic pastry chefs and cooks including the well-known cook Claus Meyer and the pastry chef Mette Blomsterberg. The members of the organisation counts about 40 professional producers/
importers/distributors/dealers and about 250 private persons – all with a passion for chocolate.
MISSION: The purpose (or the 'why') of Chokoladeselskabet and of Chokoladefestivalen is to spread the knowledge of and share the love for good chocolate. The members of Chokoladeselskabet think of chocolate as others think of fine wine or quality coffee.
VISION: Chokoladeselskabet needs help for getting more awareness, and attracting a larger audience. Therefore, the vision needs to be strengthened.
