Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is, according to The Institute for Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence (IRPAAI), the “application of technology that allows employees in a company to configure computer software or a ‘robot‘ to capture and interpret existing applications for processing a transaction, manipulating data, triggering responses and communicating with other digital systems”.
The aim of this project is to find out the current state of research in the topic of RPA and carry out a qualitative study using a Danish company as a unit of analysis to contribute to the academic research in the topic.
