Introduction to the course:
This course is open to lecturers from all the Danish and German partner institutions in Videnregion/Wissenregion Syddanmark Schleswig-Holstein (University of Southern Denmark, University College Syddanmark, University College Lillebælt, Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, Fachhochschule Kiel, Fachhochschule Flensburg and Universität Flensburg).
The course is particularly aimed at lecturers who have an interest in online teaching and learning and lecturers who already undertake online teaching and learning activities or expect to do so in the future.
There is a maximum limit of 70 participants (10 from each institution).
The course includes an introduction to online and blended learning and an overview of online and blended learning models. Furthermore, the course will cover design and delivery of online courses, the role as online lecturer, web 2.0 and social media and e-assessment.
The course is delivered mainly online via both synchronous and asynchronous activities.
The course will be taught in English.
Purpose of the course:
The purpose of the course is to give the participants the competences necessary to design and deliver online and blended courses. Furthermore, the course aims to provide the participants with an opportunity to network across the partner institutions and find collaboration partners with a view to designing and delivering joint online courses to students.
