Projektdetaljer

Beskrivelse

The main purpose of this intervention study is to investigate whether a systematic and intensive use of assistive technology (AT) such as speech-to-text and text-to-speech can affect text production, regarding text quality, text length and strategies concerning communicating text for students with dyslexia. A second aim is to study whether this method can affect the students’ self-efficacy as text-performers. A third aim is to develop an AT assessment protocol to assist the evaluation process of matching appropriate AT to students with reading and writing disabilities.
Research questions: What is the impact of using assistive technology (e.g. speech-to-text) for communicating text in students with dyslexia? This regarding
o text quality (higher and lower levels)
o strategies for communicating text (with AT)
o self-efficacy as text-performers

Projekt Text performers
