The Importance of Formation and Development of Professional Identity through Nursing Education. A Profession-Oriented Practice Research Project

In this qualitative study, inspired by critical psychological practice research, we explore how various educational and everyday life conditions impact nursing students' experiences and the formation of their professional identities. A strong professional identity in nursing is essential for enhancing patient outcomes and improving the well-being, retention, and recruitment of nursing students (and nurses) within the healthcare system. We investigate this critical topic through methods such as participant observation, in-depth interviews, and focus groups.
