Student Film Competition celebrates the voice of young European filmmakers.
For the fourth time, VAF invited a number of young directors from European animation schools to participate in the competition to win the best VAF Student Film Award. The winner was selected by a professional film jury, and the award is presented at official VAF Award Ceremony on Saturday, September 28th. The films were screened in Fototama in two special shows.
The invited directors also participated in the VAF Directors Workshop, an intense 48 hours workshops, during witch European and Danish animation talents work together to create a new film based on VAF theme Human Impact.
The VAF student film competition program consisted of the following:
- Undone
- Bath House of Whales
- The redness of Red
- 400mph
- Daughter

- Food Chain
- Les levres gercees
- Protocole Sandwich
- Animals
- What happened to Drawin
