N2 - This paper examines a nascent trend within the field of entrepreneurial orientation. A new claim is put forward. Entrepreneurial learning has not been researched intensively enough with regard to describe creation of new ventures as result of accumulated learning. Thus, a 2 years research collaboration together with a with a Danish Triple Helix innovation incubator serves as a fundament for a new research perspective. Based on a case study, preliminary insights about learning orientated entrepreneurial firms will serve as a proxy towards new avenues for further research. Evidence has found that entrepreneurial learning is supportive as an enabling factor to accelerate the new creation of ventures. However, the critical discussion about entrepreneurial incubator programs induced by governmental initiatives will be a starting point to gauge costs and success related to societal growth programs. Thus, this paper will investigate the importance of entrepreneurial learning in order to start successful entrepreneurial ventures.
