Abstract
Aims to develop a framework for action in EE and to put forward suggestions for different approaches to understanding action through a conceptual analysis and model. We suggest that there is a difference, and spectrum, between action and Action and that the engagement of both the students and the educator is needed to come closer to Action. A course at a Danish university is presented to provide examples of levels of action and Action to be used as a starting point for discussions and practical implications for educators.
