Abstract

This talk is about how EFL pupils’ English and science competences can be developed through a focus on the use of narratives. A theory-based discussion and ready-to-use activities for EFL teachers are introduced. Our focus is on how narratives, on the one hand, may facilitate the pupils’ learning of subject-specific discourse and, on the other hand, their learning of science.
