Abstract

This case study explores many of the challenges of managing a portfolio of visitor attractions in the specific context of a number of historic royal palaces in London and Northern Ireland, UK. Historic palaces serve as a major tourist draw, particularly among international visitors to the UK, with the quality of their overall appeal a cornerstone of the UK’s attraction comparative advantage.
