The authors regret that the following text was not included in the published paper. Please replace the existing text in Section 2.2 with the following: 2.2. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) analysis of fern sample The contents of PTA and PtB in the fern material were reported by Rai et al. (2017). In short, PTA and PtB was extracted from 100 mg fine grinded fern material (air dried) for 60 min, added internal standard (loganin) and stabilizing buffer before being analysed at 35 °C on LC-MS (Agilent 1260 Infinity HPLC System including Agilent 6130 Single Quadropole and Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse Plus C18 column (100 × 4.6 mm, 3.5 μm) using the following mass traces for quantification: PTA [M + Na] + : 421.1 m/z; PtB [M + Na] + : 241.3 m/z; loganin [M + Na] + : 413.1 m/z. Standards of PTA and PtB were prepared according to Rasmussen and Pedersen (2017). Please insert reference in first line of Section 3.1: The LC-MS analysis of D. nigropalaceae revealed the presence of 4.5 ± 1.0 μg/g of PTA and 39 ± 9.1 μg/g of PtB (Rai et al. 2017).
