Abstract
As a highly digitalized society, Denmark is ranked as # 1 in the UN report of E–Government Development Index1. The effect of digitalization is also visible for social workers, as increasingly municipalities are introducing digital ways of working with documentation; even using chatbots and other digital technologies2 .
However, besides a digital approach to working with documents, there is another dimension – communication with the help of social platforms, chats, messages and photos. This means that social workers need to have special skills and need to get used to being present online. But are we ready to provide these skills? And how should this be done?
