Abstract

Low back pain (LBP) is a major health issue globally. Self-management, including evidence-based treatment components such as patient education, exercise and advice to remain active, is consistently recommended in LBP clinical guidelines. Delivery of self-management through digital platforms, such as mobile applications (apps) is hypothesized as supportive for patients when managing their condition.
