Abstract

Multimorbidity is highly prevalent among community-dwelling older adults and is associated with poorer health outcomes and increased healthcare use. Numerous systematic reviews have evaluated interventions targeting this population, but findings remain fragmented and sometimes inconsistent. An umbrella review of systematic reviews is therefore needed to synthesize and critically appraise the existing evidence, providing a comprehensive overview of intervention effectiveness to inform clinical practice, policy, and future research.
