    Abstract

    Through a critical literature review (Hart 2003/2018) focusing on empirical, peer reviewed European research, the chapter will address the following research questions:
    - What are recurrent topics explored in studies on teacher induction and mentoring in Europe?
    - How is induction and mentoring conceptualised in European studies in the field?
