N2 - Societal and political focus on both a European and worldwide level calls for a scope on what research have been done within the area of "inequality in health" in order to form both a theoretical and operational foundation for health professionals (in this case occupational therapists) to contribute, along with other health professionals, in dealing with the problem of inequality in health. In this study health promoting technologies for adult citizens living in high risk areas of health, is chosen as one particular area of interest for occupational therapists within the field of health promotion.
