Abstract
It is well documented that, in the transition from student to registered nurse, problematic experiences can occur (1, 2, 3). Quite a number of new nursing graduates change job after a short duration of employment (4) or leave the profession within the first years of their career (5).
This paper is based on a Danish study of the transition from being a nearly graduated nursing student (NGNS) to being a new nursing graduate (NG).
