Abstract
This paper seeks to explore and develop a fuller understanding of how engaging students as active partners in co-creating virtual learning environment can promote more active, student-centred teaching and learning in hospitality & tourism education. Following the suggestions of the co-creation research, this qualitative study attempts to connect the concepts of Co-creation, Design Thinking, and Reflective Practice-Based Learning. It shares the lessons learned in the co-creation experiment, which questions the traditional student-lecturer relations and implicates that co-creation can be an alternative path in educating future hospitality & tourism professionals.
