Abstract

Potential benefit of Family Nursing Therapeutic Conversations (FNTCs) in patients with heart failure (HF) and their family members has not yet been fully elucidated. We evaluated the short-term (3 months) and long-term (6 and 12 months) effect of FNTCs added to conventional care versus conventional care on social support (SS), family health (FH) and family functioning (FF) in outpatients with HF and their family members.
