Abstract
This essay describes – from a personal view – what it is to work with your heart in your hands. The author presents insights and reflections about how to take care of others and be aware of the fact that everybody works with a heart in their hands in their everyday life. Finally it describes how organizational development theory Appreciative Inquiry can help you get close to peoples hearts, and how it can be a way to shorten the distance between you and the people around you.
