Abstract
In Short
Germany as well as Denmark are focusing on the same issues regarding Dementia, as other European Countries are, too. The key issues in the national strategies are: timely diagnosis, self-determination for the person with dementia, unbroken “care chain”, better possibilities for the relief of informal carers (relatives), balanced view on assistive technology, destigmatisation and support of autonomy.
