Abstract

This report communicates the results of the comprehensive mapping of 1.832 articles in 2018 of the media coverage of Russia in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, and the north-western news media's coverage of the Nordic countries. The report also builds on interviews with 30 Russian editors and 2 Russian professors. It includes a description of media manipulation and of the Russian media system in its own right - not through western eyes.
