This article describes how nursing education at University College South Denmark, via a time-limited project with three student admission dates from September 2012 through September 2013 has set the tone for the existing nursing education in relation to innovation and welfare technology. This tone-setting has resulted in changes in both the programme’s content and the didactic steps taken along the way in the programme. The article provides short but specific examples of how this tone-setting was implemented in the programme’s introduction period and in selected modules in the further education.
