Abstract

In this article I will focus my attention on the different views on language in the linguistic discussions as they appear in both the Golden Age and the present. In addition, I wil focus on Kierkegaard's responses to the discussion surrounding the linguistic crisis as percieved in the Danish Golden Age, and then finally examine the resemblances between the linguistic crises, and the views on language and linguistic pedagogy in both the Golden Age and present-day Denmark.
