Abstract

Society increasingly demands responsible behavior from corporations. Thus today, corporations are expected to be transparent, to give back to society, to take a political stand on current topics, and not least to support the values prevalent in their societies and secure positive societal development. In this paper, we wish to explore what we see as yet another development in relation to the responsible corporation’s role in society, which is that of using their business expertise to enlighten and educate citizens.
