Abstract
This chapter analyzes the two comics Orgasmebogen (2020) [The Orgasm Book] and Hvad er porno? (2023) [What is porn?], by Danish comics creator Kristine Tiedt, to identify the form and genre traits used to convey information as part of a narrative, specifically on the topic of sexual education. It is discussed how the comics mix genres and establish fact-based comics which serve as sex-education material from an explicitly norm-critical perspective. By orchestrating the comics as a conversation between the three characters, the Woman, the Expert and the anthropomorphized character the Pussy, different positions are made visible and given voice, challenging the norms of sexuality, gender, and pornography supported by facts, fun, and desire. The chapter examines how these comics can serve as materials in a school context as part of sexuality education with an eye for critiquing the norms.
