This workshop addresses the shift in organisation of knowledge from arborescent hierarchies (tree structures and folders) to rhizomes (roots of weeds, the (dis)organization of the internet). This shift is caused mainly due to the emergence of digital networks and the amount of disorganized information floating around on the Internet. In comes the # hashtag as organizational savior. During the workshop we present a series of experiments and practices where #hashtags and different types of social media.
