FAF is one of the biggest and most oldest animation festivals in the North and as PR and communication manager of VAF, my attendance at FAF was mostly media coverage and relational work. This was networking and meetings with filmmakers, produceres and artist. But also attending the awardshow.
Part of the coverage was attending seminars and events with the focus on what is happening in the animation industry currently. For example the seminar "New Nordic Animation" containing presentations of nordic productions ranging from childrens tv series to environmental dissemination in virtual reality
As a representant for both VAF and The Animation Workshop networking becomes a big part of attending the festival. Especially at seminars such as "Significant: The Animation Workshop" and the industry gala dinner.
