Description

Technological disruptions, environmental impacts and societal uncertainties have been changing the world rapidly. Being innovative is essential for designing a product that could meet the complex needs of user (i.e. the person using the product) while not compensating the environmental responsibility.
The workshop emphasizes “learning-by-doing” in which various Human-Centered design methods are introduced and practiced with guidance through completing a group basis design project.
The core of the workshop is to learn how to conduct UX design research, ideate innovatively, iterate design process bolstered with environmental responsible decisions, run usability testing, and more.
Amongst others, tools/methods introduced in the workshop include:
3D scanning and VAR rendering for UX design research.
System thinking for eco-system’s causal interdependency evaluation.
Prototyping skill including 3D printing for usability testing.
CDIO compliant project basis.
